A lace front wig has lace only in the frontal part, usually ear to ear, while from mid to back, the cap is made of a tougher material. Then it comes down to a choice between either type of wig lace front or a full lace. The decision depends on your sense of aesthetics and need for styling, in other cases, the best wig may not suit you according to your taste.

Lace Front Wigs. Pros And Cons

The delicate lace at the front gives a proper hairline weaving illusion making it look more natural for styling that has the hair pushed back. Usually, they are less costly than full lace wigs as well as are breathable. But, lace front wigs take away styling choices because the back and sides do not have lace, so styles like high ponytails or intricate updos cannot be achieved.

Full Lace Wigs. Pros and Cons

Because a complete lace wig's entire cap is composed of lace, it may be styled in a variety of ways, such as braids and ponytails.
Thus, lightweight and breathable lace makes it also very comfortable for long-term wearing. Nevertheless, they are pricier and haphazard, plus they require extra care in application and maintenance. The lace is delicate and, therefore, can be more fragile compared to the sturdier material used for lace front wigs.

Which One To Choose?

A lace front wig is a cost-effective choice with a realistic hairline and requires minimal styling versatility. However, a full lace wig is an asset much worthy if you love freedom in styling and cherish an absolutely natural-looking appearance regardless of the cost.
Whichever you select will basically depend on your styling choice, budget, and anticipated duration of wear of the wig.
